Default AEM cam gears rubbing my upper cover....normal??

I just switched from oem to aem and now the intake gear grinds on the distributor side...it will stop if i push the timing cover towards the distributor...wonderin if this happens to anyone else and if you know an easy way to stop it and keep the gears

And if this could cause any problems.

the gear is the same size as stock, so no it's not normal.

are you sure you got all the bolts back in on the upper cover.
