lock washers, deformed thread locknuts and studs, double nuts, it goes on and on. There's lots of easy solutions.

I use copper locknuts for the manifold, turbo, and downpipe. I also double nut two of the turbo to manifold bolts. No problems here.

* 100% reliable, zero failures in more than 6,000,000 applications. Header fasteners absolutely, positively will not back out. Eliminates need to monitor and tighten bolts regularly
* Grade 8 aircraft quality bolts made in U.S.A. Duplex nickel plated
* Manufacturer’s Lifetime Warranty
* NOTE: ¹ Will not fit 4.6L/5.4L modular V-8

i tac welded my bolts to the turbo. small enough so that they can be easily broken with a wrench. it has done the trick for me.

Try summit, I know they are mostly for American cars but getting them to work with imports should not be to hard.

Take a small worm hose clamp and tighten it around the head of the bolt after you tighten the bolt down. Back the screw part against the turbo housing so the bolt cant turn. Costs like nothing and works great.

Loktite is only good for 400 degrees F. Pretty sure my mani gets waaaayy hotter than that. Sad that I still have to point misconception that out.

Screw the blue and red loctite, step up to taht green and yellow loctite. Green can be found almost anywhere, yellow is specialty.

Genereally red loctite is good enough, regardless of temperature rating

Had a similar problem with my inline pro turbo manifold. The bolts the hold the turbo on keep backin out, falling out. So, I just got two small pieces of metal and tack welded them to the heads of the bolts. Problem solved. The stage 8 stuff is great. Just was in a bind and had to fix it then. Well be going with those when I get my new turbo.
