NAGASAKI MOTORS....GOOD or BAD???
just a quick question, i've been seeing the NAGASAKI MOTORS ad on the banner here at HT, i was wondering if anyone has worked with them before and if they're reliable like HMO. i also noticed their prices were lower than HMO's but that just made me think they're not complete swaps...
i dont know anything about them, but for complete swaps at low prices check out http://www.jazzproparts.com he also doesnt charge for shipping the engine
I've had good experiences with http://www.hmotorsonline.com. That's who I would suggest whenever someone is asking about swaps...

DO NOT BUY from Jazz, he is a scammer, bought two swaps from him a couple years ago off of ebay, took 4 months and the I never got some of the stuff I paid for and no return on my money. Oh and the motors were side by side on the pallet, the iacv bolt wore through the valve cover of the other motor.

my friend ronnie has ordered 4 engines from them with no problem, i think you just got a shitty deal man, they werent THAT clean, but they were clean, that motor looks brand new
i got my b16a from HMO, like 3 weeks ago, and damn, business is very good. i was just wondering if there could;ve been any better routes, and nagasaki seemed really good. but hmotors has definately got my props.
from the looks of it, i would definitely trust HMO
if the price quoted is a little higher, i believe the extra cash spent is worth it regarding peice of mind and knowing that you are getting quality stuff.
One of my buddy's got an h22 from HMO awhile back and in perfect condition and car runs STRONG.

When my friend bought his from HMO it wasn't in as mint looking condition as mine, the only differences were that the IM was a little dirtier, some important wires were cut, and the spark plug wires were'nt the right length for the application. HMO can't always help what they get, but, it runs strong and everything else was perfect
