Default Mugen Headgasket install, same torque spec?

I will be installing a Mugen headgasket on my gsr and was curious to know since it is thinner than a oem headgasket does it require the same torque spec of 65lbs?

Very few guys would spend the money Vs. taking out the center layer of the OEM gasket. The head gasket has nothign to do with your Tq numbers its in the head bolt and engine material. So if you are using stock head bolts it will require stock bolt tq.

two people have answered your question, but its not good enough for you? What would make it need a different spec? Its the same type of HG, correct? Its a multi-layer-steel. Torque it to stock specs.

Yes, for the 4th time, use whatever the tq spec for your bolts are, if stock (don't see why you would reuse those) it's stock spec, if ARP's, then use ARP spec. Just like Natural Aspirations said, it has nothing to do with the gasket itself.
