The new filters seemed to have killed any image hosting from we-todd-did-racing.com. Sorry guys, I tried to hook you all up with free image hosting, guess they don't like it

Don't tell me sorry, I'm not making any money off of it. I feel sorry for everybody that now has to host images by other means.

 

It's a little Apache trick (if HT is indeed on an Apache server) that prevents hot-linking to images from this site onto another. Sometimes it just displays an x, sometimes it can display an error page, a la Geocities.

 

No the filters remove certain words and phrases and replaces them with what ever text they want. It also removes a point from your percentage. at 97% you lose your avatar, at 80% you can only post 10 times a day. Its a totaly ghey way to keep the post counts down and a good way to kill honda-tech.

It was because people were posting Plus One (But using symbols) and after realizing it took away points they used a picture of the word. It must have been hosted on WTDD Server and they Blocked it.

And No I have nothing to do with it, Just informing people of whats going on.

 

Actually they aren't using that. They are searching the posts for certain words and phrases such asI am post whoring, I am a big post *****, in before the lock, poke smot everyday and fitlering it to say something else and/or reduce your rating (my rating just dropped a bit with this post ) so they are removing all WTDR links when processing the post.. gay honda-tech (* = no offense to alt. lifestyle members)

Yeah so they wouldn't lose rating. There is nothing wrong with posting useful info and ending it withI am post whoring, or the ITR forums favorite poll choice SWED. The I am a big post ***** was used for whoring though, but oh well.

I'd second that motion and do all that is in my power to have it taken care of. But I cant ask if people are going to still post the 1 image.

 

george, just a comment. I think its a vicious cycle, the more restrictions, the more people will try and beat the system, ie pictures of plus one.
