Default need some advice.................

Ugh where to begin. Well, my car makes this ticking noise while going in reverse and after some investigation it seems to be the transmission (although it's not slipping or anything of the sort), so now i asked my mechanic and he told me it would be about 1K to change that son of a bitch, or i could just sell it. The worst part is, if i sell it, i might be getting something a little newer, and since new civics are so expensive i might be getting a sentra (boring). So idk. What would you do, sell or fix?

Although let me say my ideal car would be a white(or black) ex coupe......mmm.

I cry for the person who's dream car is a civic with a mini-me and y8 transmission
