I'm headed down to the Honda/Acura dealership tomorrow to check out a 2 Door 2000 Acura Integra LS, automatic, sunroof, power locks, etc. 50K miles priced @ $14,000. I have never been into the Integra generation (I've been mainly in the Accords lately), but what are some important things to check before I buy? Any common Integra problems?

Yeah, thats wayy to over priced. Find a different one, one not from a stealrship.

 

you could spend half that or less and get a equally nice car and just as reliable

 

my friend got a 2000 gsr with 55k miles for $12k..so you can get a better deal.

 

Woah that is way overpriced. You can get a gsr with that mileage for far less then that. Also automatic integras are harder to re-sell and dont sell for as much as one with a manual tranny.

 

i got my 98 gsr with 55k miles on it for 10k. keep looking......

 

its a dealer..its way over priced. i bought a 98 with 52K for 6,500 at a dealer.


But if your buying at a dealer..its been checked over..there shouldnt be much to worry about..cuz they have to inspect it.

Ask for carfax report.

See if any maintance has been done..(30K service/valve adjustment should have been done at 30K then at 60K..)

Drive it..is the tranny slipping? its noticeable on acura. If it is..it has been ragged on.

and to the guy who said autos are harder to sell..there not..i bought my first automatic integra in 2003 for 6K..sold it in 2006 for $6,500 to a local dealer! (this was a 96LS 95K miles..no mods.)

 

Well where i live auto's are impossible to sell. Its common sense why, the type of market integras appeal to dont want auto's(for the most part).

 

It's been a day, i hope he didn't buy it

 

id buy an auto integra anyday over a 5spd.
