P08 Head, valve not seated all the way?
Yesterday I noticed, when adjusting valve lash after a cam install, one of the intake valves on cyl. #4 was still down. I tried pushing it down to no avail. I think it is a bent valve.
Today, I took the head off, and the valve head looked fine but it was already against the seat; would soot cause a valve to stick open? I loosened the cam cap and rotated the camshaft to re-zero it to TDC, and magically the valve came back up. WTH? Is it safe to keep using this head? Anyone else experience the same thing?
This is a D15B-VTEC with P08 head, stock valvetrain with Crower stg. 2 camshaft.
Thanks, Kevin
