forgot my password for "soon to be boosted zc"
well yeah i forgot my password and honda-tech does not send the new one to aol for some reason...so now i have to start over. well i also have a few questions 1. i know a broken motor mount will create wheel hop but what else could make my car do that? engine is a jdm dohc zc. 2 if im leaking coolant could that only be my head gasket or some thing else as well? thanks in advance
lots of things can cause wheel hop, suspension bushings i think.theres other things but im not sure what they are. and you can leak coolant from anywhere where the hoses are connected into the engine.. as well as the water pump can leak.
yeah i know it could be the hoses, gasket ect... but i looked around the gasket and the 2 hoses...did not see any signs of a leak any where. or is it normal for honda engines to use a little bit of coolant? but when it comes time to boost ill replace that with a few other things anyways....
if your cooling system was filled and bled properly you shouldnt loose coolant other than into your overflow if you run a bit hot.
check your overflow, if there are any traces of oil its most likely a head gasket. look under your oil cap and see if there is any white creamy ****, if there is coolant is getting in your oil, again headgasket is to blame
tons of factors with wheel hop; mounts, tire pressure, susp bushings etc. just using poly susp bushings helped with wheel hop on my 91

would i be damaging anything by leaving the head gasket how it is till around summer time? thanks for the great info
