92 Hatch Problem....Car Wont Start! Distributor Making Whinning Noises???

92 Hatch Problem....Car Wont Start! Distributor Making Whinning Noises???
Well the other day I wiped down my engine bay..and rewire some of engine hardness.
And when i went to start the car...the distributor was Really Noisey???
While the Noise was Whinning the car Shutted Off!!!!!
Now the car starts up w/a Low Idle....
And when you feed it gas, It does not want to go!!

Chime in on what it could be??
