Its been along time coming, but have finally got it to the original tuner who fixed up some wiring issues. He says the car smokes abit like it may have blowen the turbo, but also claims the tune has changed some how. Rich at idle and goes abit lean when running. But is OK apparently.
He ran it up on the dyno and I have lost about 80whp, would cam timing cause a loss of this much power. Car was involved in a head on accident. So maybe it could have skipped a tooth or something.
Other possibilty is a hole in the intercooler.
It also has standard plugs in there I think at the moment needs a step cooler.
Any ideas as to what would cause such a dramatic loss in power?
ZC sohc with a ihivf22 used to make about 250whp on 13psi now makes about 170whp on 13psi

post up some dyno charts. Was this done on the same dyno? Also yes cam timing changing could have really screwed up your power. Good luck with it man

same exhaust system? Will a DOHC run being off teeth? I have yet to see a SOHC run being just one tooth off. What all is different from the car's?

Yeah it is one tooth off, same exhaust have a few leaks in it but nothing major. Correctted the cam timing and now it won't hold idle previously it idled real high now it will drop to low and die have tried adjusting the distributor as far as it will go either way with no real difference. Hopefully the tuner will be able to sort it out from here.
