I was wondering if anyone has raced a 2000 Prelude, because im going to race one soon and i wanted to know who you think would win.
BTW: Integra has exhaust and a 5-speed, Prelude has I/H/E but is auto
Thanks guys

but dont get a big head now
when u race, just leave him as far as u can get
and yeah definitely pu money on it
but be modest and make him him think he's gonna win
he might put up more money

Umm, well considering your Integra is and LS v. a 2000 Prelude, I don't. Me and my brother race frequently. I have a stock 2001 GSR and he has a 98 prelude with AEM CAI. Its pretty much neck and neck but I can think of two times I've pulled away from him. For you I'm just worried about your car being LS and exhaust. Exhaust sometimes doesn't do **** for you, btw what exhaust is it. Let us know
i dont know if ur going to win......i mean...the lude has 190 hp.....ur ls has only 142.......
Is the auto really that bad on a 2000 Prelude? Good luck man let us know what happens
I would put the auto prelude in the same class as the auto accords.
hmmm, if he accidentally shifts late on the SS, he'll hit hte limiter and then u'll win, i almsot beat my friends 99 SS lude with my old 92 base S lude, those had 135 hp 142 tq. but if it's normal driving and both people drive perfect, my bet is on the Lude. they have more HP and TQ, and don't weigh THAT much more. just turbo ur car :-d
I have a custom exhaust with 2 and 1/4 inch piping, and he does have the sport shift **** but my friend has a bone stock GSR and smoked the hell out of him by like 5 cars, it was embaressing. I think i could take him.
BTW: Thanks for your guys input

GSR pulls a lot harder than an LS. I raced my friends SS lude w my gsr and smokd him too, but i dont think an LS would do very well, out HPed, out torqued, and Longass gearing. If anything it would be close.
the prelude has the sport shift thingy, meaning it can reline it at precision. You will lose.

on a realated topic:
this punk kid i know has the lude (the last year they made em) its auto and hes always talking smack about how fast his car is. well id like to put him in his place but i dont htink my 98 gs can do it.
my car: 98gs stick , cai, and soon headers
his: lude (dont know what was the last year) no mods except altezzas, 17" wheels dual subs and stuff.
my car should be a lot lighter since i have the stock 15" wheels
oh yeah this kdi cant drive for his life, which is one reason he has an auto
