They don't match the bodylines, they weigh a ridiculous amount, and you basically eliminate the purpose of buying a 4WD vehicle, or even an SUV for that matter. Plus, they look ugly as sin.

Daily Drivers don't always = gas mileage. Sometimes they measure utility, hauling stuff, hauling people, etc..
Some of us on H-T have businesses to run and things to do.. This is my daily.

Really? I really like the style of wheel for the body. Guess thats an opinion.
They are really heavy - but at the end of the day - that means nothing. Literally.
I will disagree with you 100% though - you have no idea what the "purpose" of the truck is. I haul around a lot of stuff and a lot of people. And it tows my boat just fine so in reality I'm not losing any "utility"...
Thanks for all the comments though - good and bad.

by bending over everytime you go to the gas station???
its cool looking...
but unless you are a soccer mom/dad or routinely pack a bunch of people in there (guessing by the wheels that you never go off road
) I can't see why anyone would need, much less WANT such a gas guzzling beast.
edit: apparently you do haul people in it. thank god we have enormous gas wasting cars like this to raise the price for everyopne else.
u could drive two BMW/Mercedes sedans, look better, use less gas, and impress your clients more by your consciousness to the environment...

Hahaha.. Some good points - but there are some things that you aren't considering.
1. Live in Minnesota which means **** winters.
2. Have a boat that I need to tow
3. For the amount I spent on the truck $$ - I would have a 10 year old super high mileage Benz/Beemer..
I don't have clients in my car often - more toating "stuff" around..
Thanks for all the comments..
You guys also need to keep in mind that in general - HondaTech members are broke. Spending $50 on gas is no big deal - it's worth it to have the utility otherwise I wouldn't have bought it.

Having lived much of my life in MN, I know MN winters suck. Better watch those potholes in the winter with 35-series tires. Also, wouldn't you want to run more of an all-season tire in the winter and keep the bling for the summer or do you switch to a more appropriate winter setup when the snow flies?
