I recently bought a car with hondata s200 already installed.
It is now throwing a check engine light and is in safe mode.
however, when I jumper the connecter to put it into diagnostic mode, It doesn't go into diagnostic mode.
Is there another way to pull the code?

Also resetting the ecu does not clear the code or reset safe mode, or if it does clear it, it comes back instently....

You can use Hondalogger to pull the code if you have a laptop.
