i have an auto 97 ex... d16y8... and was wondering if i can swap a b16 throttle body on to it. if not.. what are my other choices as far as throttle bodies. will all the sensors work with one another? thx a lot

really not worth it, even if you swap intake manifold, throttlebody, it's still going to be a 18 second car.

 

thought u couldn't swap the intake manifold cause b16 is b-series and d16y8 is d-series. i have a header, full 2.25 exhaust, and cai. i will be boosting lightly pretty soon so i wanna upgrade my throttle body as well. and tips will be very thankful.

 

for boost it will help but i would look for like 62mm + if running boost to see decent results.

 

i'm not sure of the throttle body diameters... any charts for factory throttle body diameters? or do i have a better chance with buying an aftermarket throttle body?

 

should work....same bolt patterns...a buddy of mines is going to put a gsr throttle body on his single cam intake manifold...

 

will all sensors work?
