spring suggestion
i have the eibach prokit (1.2in all around) on my accord right now and i dont like the way that it sits. the back is fine but i want the front to be lower so i guess im going to buy the H&R sport springs( 1.5in back, 1.75in front). does anyone have these already tell me how they ride compared to stock comfortability?
the prokit to me rides like stock btw.

I have the same pro kit. But on a 03 cpe. I have the same problem. I'm done with springs. I'm buying the tein basics, with front and rear camber kits and call it a day. I'm not sure on your gen, but I've heard nothing but good stuff about this coil-over set up. That way you can get the exact drop your looking for...

I here you man coilovers are the way to go you get looks and performance unlike springs...yeah spring may look good but they really dont compare in performance...good choice

I think you have that backwards. A good set of springs will have the correct springrate for its drop. with coilovers you have one springrate with multiple drop options, so the lower you go, the stiffer the ride.

Yeah, get the sports.. I have em in a box downstairs, just waiting to find someone to help me put em on my cd5.
The h&r sports have about the same drop as the eibach sportlines, so they should look something like this.. (My old cd5 with 93 se 15ers)

looks good to me, so does yours mosu (my personal opinion). I have the same CD7 you have mosu, will be doing a suspension rebuild, i guess i'll buy me a set of h & r's.
Two ?'s do they have mud flaps for the rear (cd7's).
and i noticed your exhaust system is that the magnaflow, just curious.

yeah i think the H&R would look good instead of the eibach prokits.
2nd yes the cd7 do have mud flaps for both the rear and the front but i took them off.
lastly my muffler is a IMCO one. they look ery similiar.

no this is not true. the h&r RACE are the ones that match eibach sportlines. i'd stick with eibach since they have a more even drop. h&r are known to have a raked look (front lower than the rear) which is why i'm curious to your current setup.
prokits are only 1" drop and don't look lowered at all. it handles like stock basically.
sportlines look and handle (when matched with good struts/shocks) the best IMHO

H&R Sport Spring fr. 1.75 r.1.5
Eibach sportlines fr. 1.8 r.1.7
H&R race 2.2 2.0
Looks to me like there is a much bigger difference between the race and sportlines vs. sportlines and the sports.. The difference between the sportlines and the sports is a few 16ths of an inch.. hardly noticeable. Also the ride quality of the sport is far better than the sportlines, IMO.. and the race were intended as an even stiffer spring, not recommended for a daily driver. As for the front end rake, I think thats the problem he's trying to fix. accords have a bigger wheel gap in the front vs. the rear so they need a lower front end.
I got my h&r sports put on today, and I think they are a much sweeter ride than my sportlines where, and when the sun comes up in the morning I'll snap some pics for you.

This is not true for most true coilover systems. Mine for example have separate adjustments for spring tension, and ride height. Full coilovers are generally intended for increased performance, and especially when high spring rates are used, a stiffer ride is obtained. Whether you like this or not depends on your intention for your car i suppose.

Sleeve over coilovers, however, do get stiffer as the drop increases. Only high quality sleeve over coilovers, paired with a good damper with give you a quality ride and better performance.

just wanted to clear that up

I got he same setup, KyB Agx & HR Sport, its the best combo to go with. Ride is bit bouncier than stock, but good overall. The height is perfect, 2 fingers front/ 3 rear, so its bumper friendly. Go w/ HR Sport
Here is a picture of my Accord on H&R Race springs with KYB AGX shocks. The drop was perfect in my objective opinion, but the ride was absolutely horrible. The setup did not handle road imperfections well at all. It was bone jarring. The adjustments on the shocks did not help much either. No matter if they were set full soft, full stiff, or anything in between, the ride was still bad.

That's why they are called race springs. They were not designed for a daily driven vehicle.

There are many "race" suspension setups on the market that perform well on the street also. They include: JIC, Tein and Boss Chens. It depends on spring rates on the springs and dampening specifications on the shocks. An Accord that is lowered more than the H&R Race springs can provide, can/will give a better ride on the street, if it were set-up correctly, with the right components. For just a minor drop with upgraded shocks, I recommend RS-R lowering springs. The ride was close to stock.
