Theres black molding on the side of my car, and I'm pretty sure its the oem stuff. Does anybody know if its held on my adhesives, or clips. I want to shave it off but if its held on by clips i dont really want to fill the body, sand, repaint etc. here is a pic..

 

Clips. You need to do body work to remove them.

 

Take out interior pieces to get to the molding clips. The smaller ones behind the doors have 3 clips. I used a pliers to get them off.

 

held on by clips, need to weld the holes shut and fill and repaint

 

Just leave it on, unless you want to weld, sand and paint.
