I just joined the navy, and recieved a good sized sign on bonus, Ill probably invest in a piece of land first. Then will come a car.

My orginal plan was to k swap then turbo an eg, but the fear of it getting stolen is hard to get past. Too many thieves, I see atleast one a day "my car got stolen" threads in the 92-00 civic thread.

My question is, how do you guys like your civic si's? how much do they weigh? how long is suggested before I turbo it? how much boost is it capable with stock internals? To pull the motor will I have to drop the subframe (i heard this was nessacary in the rsx).

Is there anything you guys dont like about your car?

1 more thing. Im a pretty tall guy. About 6'3". In my eg, after about 2 hours of driving my legs hurt from being too close. Any tall drivers with the new si? how do you like.?

i'm 6'4" 230lbs and i fit FINE in my si
driving 15k miles in it so far....

Just go buy it... only question is sedan or coupe.

 

as for the boost, all jap cars is boosting a stock internals (i believe) to 8psi for 375ish whp.. not bad i say
