I had an old valve cover laying around that had the timing belt cover cut for cam gear tuning. That motor died in January of this year and I'm using stock cams/gears now so I have now need for it anymore.
I figured since the oem paint was flaking off that I wouldn't be able to get much money for it, so I decided to paint it with some engine paint I had laying around and give it some personality.
This valvecover was given 3 coats of high temp engine enamel (rated up to 500* F) and 2 coats of high temp clear coat (same temp rating). As you can see I grinded the "honda motor company" lettering off. The paint looks pretty cool (very close the gray color that AEM uses on their hybrid intake pipes). The only blemish is that there is a gash on the "C" in dohc.
