For those who wanted to see progress on CHEETAH, here is how we're looking so far:


Its a challenge trying to:
-help wife with twin 1yr old baby BOYS
-buy house
-sell condo
-juggle a full time banker job
-build this racecar
-build customer motors cause they are getting antsy and wanna race
-help friends get their racing cars going
-take care of grandma while my mom is in Europe for 2 weeks
-plan a bachelor party for my racing team manager

well, should get it up and running soon, the Z10 traction system is on now and is BADASS, HyTech header is getting modified to fit around torsion bars and DRT getting ready to build the cage then back to Autobody by Duie, to finish up their magic work.

I have Saturday to get wiring on car done, install engine management system and wrap up fuel system and coolant system.

If I'm lucky I may see ATCO next weekend for NHRA.

looks good... btw, just curious as to why you didnt get the cage installed
before they painted the car...

it was time constraints. the car had to be built and painted in central jersey...and caged in queens ny. more then likely the cage will be paint BOMBED

 

Is that the new HASport mount kit in there? I am curious about you all motor guys with running the Lenso's and the MT 24.5x8x13 tires. Someone was talking about how a 7" wide slick would be better suited for the all motor cars. What are your (Lip and Cheetah) experiences and advice you could give me?

It's highly appreciated.

ps: this is for a B20VTEC in a CRX with hopefully around the area of 230whp and using a J1 tranny with stock gears and fd.
