Toda B's or Buddy Club spec 3
im in a huge dilema. I have these 2 sets of cams and dont know wich ones to put in. My goal is to try to reach 210whp or more. wich cam you guys think will help me more....ive been searching for hours now and i want to deside so i can go finish putting my motor toghether and get it running so any info would be gratly appreciated guys thanx...
i currently have a B16 head with mild P&P.
dual valve springs and titanium retainers,
supreteck flat faced valves with black nitride coating and 3 angle valve job.
and custom itb's.
the bottom end is a B18c1 with Jdm oversiced ITR pistons, shootpeened rods, fidanza 7 pound flywheel and i got the whole rotating assebly balanced.
its finished of with a custom header and tuned on crome.
so if you had these 2 sets of cams wich would you drop in thanks again.

THE BC3 are alot smaller, i orginally ran the toda b in a motor like that but make sure those valve springs u have can acutally handle them, if they cant, they collapse and u end up bending alot of valves. but u will make more power with the todas but the bc3 are safer,
THANKS....they springs will hold up...when i purchased them they told me they would hold up to 9500..not that im going to be reving that high just wanted to have springs that would be strong enough.
Buddy Club Spec III Plus
Spec III plus were designed to accommodate compression ratios from 10.0:1 to 13+. Specifications:
Intake 304 duration 11.59 mm lift
Exhaust 294 duration, 10.71mm lift.
Toda Spec B
iNTAKE: 12 mm 255 @ 1mm
Exhaust:12.5 mm 255 @ 1mm
THE BC3 has the longer duration, meaning the valves are open longer, that has to do with the power band from mid end
The Todas have the higher lift, meaning thats gonna be a bigger top end and peak hp. there are alot more on the cams, thats jsut a summary, id use the Bs for Drag but the BC3 for daily driven

We have ran both and the Toda's are a little harder to tune and the idle is a little harder to get perfect but they always seemed to make more power! Your Vtec crossover will have to be higher then the BC3's also !!
