Hi for the experts...
I need a little help here on choosing which cams should i go.
I dont really have a deep pocket rite now, so whatever suggestions you experts throw at me, i'll consider it and i might get it sooner or later the fact that i live in New Zealand, sometimes its not easy to get parts like you guys do in there!!!

Exedy 5 puck clutch with heavy duty PP
Lightweight flywheel* (still deciding which one to get)
Will balance the crank, clutch assembly and flywheel later

JDM P-72 Head
ported and polished
Mill* (still deciding how much to take)
Brand new OEM Honda P-72 head gasket set
Brand new OEM Honda timing belt and tensioner
Skunk2 IM
Gizzmo IM gasket
Bored ITR throtle body
Mugen 4-1 header
JDM Prelude saturated 280cc injectors
B&M FPR
JDM ITR Fuel rail
Fujitsubo exhaust

You have spent a lot of money on your project so far, why skimp on the cams? It is said that the Blox cams have same spec's as some of the more popular cams, and quality is supposed to on par. The real value comes in when you need any customer service, Blox ( If you can get ahold of them) does not even know the true specs on their cams. I have called them numerous times and all they were able to give me was lift and duration of the vtec lobe, no opening or closing times.

Blox tuner and competition series cams have the exact same lift and duration as each other. The only difference is the 2 small lobes are the same width. Gives you a wider contact patch on the rocker arm. The problem with this is unless you have a new set of rocker arms you already have a wear pattern from the dis-similar lobe widths.

thats right. even up until now, i'm still searching for the cam specs for either Blox Tuner B and Competition B but still couldnt find it!! But for the price in here, dude!! Really, cant beat their price, eh. I mean NZ$995 you'll get the whole package, bro!! ITS US$622 !!!!!!!!!!!!! beat that!!
Unless i can get any US made cams and valvetrain about that price, i might be interested!!
Thanks for the info and suggestion tho!! thats what i really want! or even if you know anyone that wants to sell stuff like cams and vlvetrain, header, and flywheel, lmk. cos i wont mind buying it if its sounds like the rite price to me.....

You missed his point. He's saying that you should buy from a different manufacturer instead of looking at price first.

Talk to Big Al, I am sending his engine to NZ soon, maybe there is a shipping break if I include your items.

I'm a D-Series guy but people seem to be pretty fond of the Rocket cams. Talk to Clean Rice.

The M25E cam is going to be MUCH too large for your motor. The M22x cam profile would suit your motor better, and would make you allot of power. They are larger than a Jun 3 or a Blox "tuner,"/S2S2 for comparrison. What is this motor going to be used for?

i pretty much gonna use this car for daily but wont travel much kms on daily basis, as my work place is only about 5kms away from my home. but i want to use it as drag and circuit racing also in the near future. so pretty much overall type of driving, eh.
so you suggest just M22X, right? but when i look at their site, they're selling it only with valvetrain kit that they have. how good are they? and also i saw there are 2 diffrent type. which one you'd recommend?
And 1 more thing, are there any other suggestions on cams? just wanna something for me to chew on....
thanks for the suggestions guys!!

Yes I do recommend the M22x version of the cam, your motor wouldn't benefit from using the xx version. I can also sell you the cams just as long as you have sufficient valvetrain to hold up to them, thats not a problem. How good are the cams?? Well, they are made of Crower heat treated blanks, no Taiwan crap. They have been proven time and time again in motors, they have a strong reputation in making power high and are one of the best drag race cams you can buy. For auto-xing or something like that, I might suggest the S2 Pro1. But I really think you would be happy with the M22x camshaft.
