Default LS vs GSR

hey guys, im just wondering what will it take to beat a gsr?
i drive a 94-97 Ls, my mods right now are
-short ram intake
-jg edl. 4-2-1 headers.
-custom 2.25" piping all the way through.
-mugen ecu- rev limit- 8500 or 9000 i believe.
anything else i can add to gain more hp?
thanks.

you dont need to tweak your ECU to up your redline. your car only puts out power to around 7 grand (i think?) and the extra 1500-2000 you're talking about adding to your redline won't add power, just uselessly make your engine rev above its output.

oh and add a turbo at around 8-10 psi... get that **** tuned to perfection and you'll be nice and quick... a lot quicker than just a GSR.

HOW MANY TIMES HAS THIS BEEN COVERED!!!

Seriosuly you have 600+ posts, you should be posting something useless as this post.

You want to beat a GSR, get a GSR swap and throw an intake on it. Boom your done.

Mugen never made an ECU or a chip (any chip for that matter) for the Integra LS. Who knows what program your ECU is actually running. Exercise caution with the overrev.

Free is good. However, an improperly programmed ECU can damage your engine. If the rev limit is set at 9000RPM, your stock valve train cannot handle that. You could potentially bend valves if they float badly enough. It is in your best interest to learn exactly what is on that ECU. Hopefully the fuel map doesn't just stop at a certain RPM, which can lead to detonation.

A shorter geared tranny would be a good start.

new fuel injectors with a custom tune could make some power, other than that you will need some major mods

B16 tranny, crower 403's, dual valve springs and retainers and a good tune, and you will have no problem beating gsr's. And really its the driving because I have beat gsr's in my ls and I only have a cold air and a cat back w/ some sticky tires.

Please note my skeptism regarding the existence of a B18B camshaft manufactured by Skunk2. I was being nice.
