Default A few questions

I have an '06 Type-S and I'm wondering what parts are interchangable between my car and mygirlfriends '04 base model when I upgrade. I plan on upgrading everything with the suspension and engine. I'm also wondering what the benefit of switching to the Type-R intake manifold is and if it is even worth the money. Any input here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

If you've got a lot of time to waste, you could try hondapartsunlimited.com to look up the part and get the part number. Then search for the same part for the other vehicle. If the part numbers are the same, they will fit.

They're not gonna be the same part #. The parts on the Type-S are better and I'm wanting to use the parts off of my car to upgrade hers when I upgrade mine.

Thanks for that site though. It helped me find out what parts she can use. I'm gonna put my intake manifold/throttle body/cat-back/rear sway/and front brake assy. on her car when I upgrade soon.

The catback by itself won't fit without some fabrication/cutting, but everything from the header through the end of the catback will fit fine (I basically did the same thing with my EP). You'd just need some extensions to safely reach the O2 sensors when they're in the bigger, longer cat section.

When you do the front brakes, find a Type-S proportioning valve to make sure the balance is correct.

You'd be surprised how many Type-S parts I've got on my EP...
