APEXi Turbo Questions???
Civic 92-95 EX/Si AX Ball Bearing Turbo
I'm sorry if these questions are stupid but I don't know the answers and I was hoping that one of you guys might.
1) Since I am going with a Hondata 2b system on my car, do I need to buy APEXi's fuel system?
2) What makes APEXi's off-road fuel system (190 HP) different from the street fuel system (160 HP)?
3) What is not street legal about APEXi's off road fuel system?
4) Approximatly when does the P18 turbo that they use spool up?
5) At what PSI does the APEXi turbo kit make either 160 or 190 HP?
An answer to any of these questions would be a great help. Thanks in advance.

What does the fuel system come with? If it comes with injectors, pump, etc. than yes.
Give us some specs.
Supposedly every 1lb = 5-10 horses depending on tuning

I'm not sure... no one seems to know that much about the kit. I already bought RC 440 injectors, a Walbro 255 lph inline Fuel Pump, and a Stillen FPR, and a Hondata 2b with datalogging. I really like the idea of 190 horsepower in my underpowered SOHC D16Z6 but I need more information before I go off and spend that much money.
I just saw it on http://www.apexi-usa.com and I was reading about some of the stuff it comes with but there is no mention about the components of the fuel system. Here is a link to the page I was looking at ( http://www.apexi-usa.com/intake_turbo.asp ).
Ok, here's what I think.
160 w/out fuel system - you can only run so much boost on a stock fuel system, thus make only so much power. "Street"
190 w/fuel system and GT intercooler - higher boost levels can be reached, intercooler is self explanatory. "Off-road"

Apexi sells two different fuel setup's though. Thats what I'm confused with. I want to use my existing fuel setup which is a Walbro 255 lph inline fuel pump, Stillen FPR, RC 440's, and a Hondata 2b w/ datalogging software and still get 190 HP. It seems like a better option then paying Apexi for something I already have that is better (in my opinion).

Why not call Apex direct and ask them? Also, for those that don't know, that kit puts out the power they claim......and then some. It is rare for a product to be under-rated, but I supposed Apex, like other very high quality manufacturers sometimes do this. Check out speedoption.com. About 2 months ago they dynoed the Apex kit on a D16Z6 and got about 6HP more than the kit claimed at the wheels with the "street" fuel system.
