Another Tire question....
Im looking for some tires for my Enkei Rpf1's that im ordering. Theyre 15x7, and im torn between 225/45/15 hankook ventus R-S2 and 205/50/15 Falken Azenis Rt-615. Does anyone have any insight into these tires? any experience with them? thank you
falken 615 better dry grip and so so wet grip
hankook rs2 good grip on dry and better on wet than falken......
i have had both tires and i am going to go back to the falken

(And these differences between the tires will be true even with the different tread widths mentioned.)

so the 205 falken will handle better on dry than the 225 hankook? how about Bfgoodrich G-force's a friend just got em on his civic EM2 and he loves em. How do these compare to the falkens?i dont really care about wet traction because i rarely drive the car when its wet

Yes.

BFG has a lot of tires with the g-Force name (just like Bridgestone has with Potenza, Kumho with Ecsta, etc). So it depends on which one you're talking about.
Briefly:
BFG g-Force T/A KD - This tire is similar in capability to the Falken Azenis RT-615, with outstanding traction on dry pavement, but not so great on wet pavement and doesn't last all that long. The big difference is in price (in 205/50-15, $133, vs $72 for the RT-615).
BFG g-Force T/A KDW2 - This is designed to be more of an all-purpose performance tire, similar to the Kumho Ecsta SPT, Yokohama ES100, etc, with a blend of pretty good dry traction, wet traction, and treadlife. Also relatively expensive ($99, vs $50 for the SPT). Dry performance is good, but not at the Azenis/KD/etc level.
BFG g-Force Sport - This is designed to be inexpensive, period, and its performance is a big step down from the KDW2.
BFG g-Force T/A KDWS - All-season tire.
Bottom line: If you're looking for dry traction, stick with the Azenis RT-615.
Yes.
