Cheapest way would be to cut a set amount off of each spring until you like the height.

Your ride quality, however, will SUCK!!! It'll be a bouncy, nasty peice of ****.

Isn't there a brand of lowering springs you recommend to get that height? Thanks for all the responses!

just go on ebay and get any of the 0"-4" coils they offer,,then when you get it just put the sping on and not the slipover..it will sit just like that car in the photo,,but you'll hate it and its very dangerous..imagine going over a big bump at 60mph with the shock fully compressed.. . maybe you should look into air ride.

Cheap, and springs should never be used in the same sentance.

The cheapest way to lower a car, IMO is neuspeed springs. $120 and your set

Listen to the responses......they're right. There's lots of "cheap" ways to get the ride height you want but each will make your car handle and ride like crap. Cheapest would be cutting your OEM springs. Like others have said it'll make your car bouncy, handle poorly (making it unsafe). Next would be ultra cheapo, no name Ebay specials. Sure they'll give the ride height you want but eventually will sag and wear out your shocks.

Save up, go with a name brand, Eibach, Neuspeed, Tein, etc.

ebay coilovers or spring clamps. personally id go with clamps, they are cheaper, totally reversible, keep the ride somewhat forgiving and you can have the car as high or low as you want depending on how many coils you clamp.

thats what ill be doing to get rid of my 4x4 ride height untill i can get some proper suspension.

Ok so I dont think Im going to get ebay coilovers, or cut the springs. How much of a drop do you think is in the picture?

so say I bought some Eibach's, or another good brand I can get that same drop right? I never lowered any of my cars but now I want somthing low. thanks

Sprint Suspension's springs drop your car pretty damn low, I'd suggest that.

Cut Neuspeed Race springs. Thats what we've been doing since 1995.

heat your stock springs up. its ghetto. and free. rides better than coilovers or cut springs. not too bouncy. just doesnt handle great

H&R sport or race springs are like $160-$170 new.

I have the sport springs, dropped my car nicely. I do reccomend aftermarket shocks, cause the new springs will eventually blow your stock ones out. Mine are.

Eibachs dont really lower the car that much. The H&R and Neuspeed, which I believe are pretty much the same springs drop the car real well. Get the Race version, they drop another 1" lower than the Sport, I believe.

yup if you dont care about your ride quality

then a set of ebay coilovers for 20 bucks would be your cheapest route other then cutting stock springs

well Im sure there is a thread where everyone posts a pic of their car and tells the suspension setup, can someone point me to a thread like that? If not feel free too post pics of your ride and let me know what your setup is so I can see whats up, and ill go from there.
