I have ITR calipers and am picking up my rotors that are redrilled tomorrow. I am having a very hard time finding a shim kit to use. The acuara dealer wont just sell me a shim kit and all the auto parts stores are sold out. Is there a another car that has a identical shim kit avialable for them? I am going to use ultimate pads.

 

you dont really need the silencer shims, if you need them go to kragen and buy them in the "help!" packages, its a self adhesive 3M silencer pad.

they're like $4.99/pack at kragen. They're the 3M stick adhesive kinds sort of like a aluminized plastic but probably a high heat resistant polymer. As far as getting metal ones you could try and cut your own from a sheet of copper or thin gauge aluminum or steel. Or take the old ones off youre current set if they aren't riveted on.
