Default Header differences

Im looking to do minimal upgrades to my stock 86 CRX DX, its carbed and i believe it has a D15b2. I found a header on ebay and was wondering if it would fit the engine. Im going to bend up my own exhaust and weld a high flow cat on. I justneed to know if the d series headers are really as interchangeable as this ebay ad says they are. Thanks

uh, i would just swap the damn motor personally. d16's are cheap and easy to find. i think the header is interchangeable, but someone correct me if im wrong.
i see ur ktm300. I ride a honda crf250 with a 302 stroker/bigbore with ported head. It was either the ktm300exc or the crf250 when i movin up from minis. good choice sorry, ill get back on topic

all d series parts are interchangeable. i just put a on my d15 which was on a d16

o yea if you have a d15b2 it's not carbed it's just dpfi(dual port fuel injected) you can do a mpfi conversion. good luck.

its not a d15b2,,i think its called d15a2..and the 88+ wont fit like that guy is saying if you want some headers for your car check out summit racing for 84-87 specific headers...just looking at the 84-87 headers you can tell they're not the same

I dont think so, not all are same, there is a big diffrence in d15b and d16 piston, In esay words, u cant interchange them,

Thanks for the great info, it is carbd and doing a motor swap would be ideal but right now the CRX is my only car. So i was planning on doing minor bolt-ons only for now, but id like to try the dual weber set up in the future. I was looking at the Hedman PowerPlus Chikara, would that be a good choice, knowing I plan to run dual webers in the future?
Thanks Again
