Default couple questions for you DA Guys

I've tried searching but haven't really found anything that has helped me out. So here are my questions. I have a 90 Integra, I want to have my fog lights run all the time, not just with my headlights being on. Anyone have a write up or a how to for this? Also, as I have been flipping through some of the pics of DA's, I have noticed that some of them have arm rests? Are their certian years that have the arm rest? Could I take an arm rest for like a 94 and use it?

You need to wire your foglights into your low beam as long as you have working daytime running lights.

dont listen to this loser guy, amps have alot to do with it, listen to Rikter, wire the foglamps into the daytime running lights, ie lowbeam wires, the armrests usually run you about 150-250 as they are a veru RARE piece but worthless and no the DC 2 armrests dont fit

you splice the red/yellow wire off the foglight switch to the black/yellow wire on the rear defroster switch. this will let the fogs run while no lights are on. i have done this...and had it this way for about 3 years with no problems.

you do exactly as projetteg stated.

http://www.G2ic.com teg tips

Wire them into the defrost.

If you have an rs like me. just run the wire along/undeer/behind the cluster.

I also have a 90 Integra.

ARMREST: It was an option from the factory. And I got mine from my local Junkyard for $20.

I see these questions and threads and write ups about wiring fog lights to come one... but i dont get it, is my DA just special? I had a button for my fog lights...
and somehow when i wired up my one pieces, they come on with the running lights (the first click on the headlights, the corner lights)

edit: actually, come to think of it.. that switch only turned the fogs on if the headlights were on... well either way when i wired up my one peices now they come on with the corner lights

"First, find the red/yellow wire in the FOGS switch. Cut this wire about 2" away from the switch.

Now take the cut wire that's STILL attached to the switch and splice it into the black/yellow wire of the Defogger switch. " - From http://www.G2ic.com

Ok maybe i keep reading this wrong , but to me this makes no sense at all , im not sure how the fog lights are actually connected but i would assume that wire comes from the lights then to switch where it meets up with a power source , so my beef is , why would you cut the wire at the switch ? and how does it still work if there is no source running to the actual fog lights. ?

the fog lights are the most inner lenses near the acura emblem right? strange, i hit the fog light switch whenever i want and they stay on, and turn off when the car is off.

see, it a lot of cars, the fog lights are wired to come on only when the headlight, low beams are on. I want them to come on whenever I hit the switch. So cutting the wire and the splicing it to something with a power source that is constant when the car is one and the headlights are off, will give me that option. I just wasn't sure what wire it was or what wire it was from the rear deforst switch.
