I was wondering if a 96-98 climate control would fit on a 99 and if it its plug and play ?

 

i dont believe so and why would you do that, go from electonic controls to a man. cable style temp control.

Because the 96-98 looks better.

Yes, it will fit with modification. It's basically a reverse process of the 99-00 conversion.

Search on that, but just get the same parts, but for a 96-98

In most parts of europe, they don't have the "99-00" climate control. 96-00 has the manual climate control. Even in Holland! Isn't that vierd?

Because I have a 1.6 EL audio console, cup holders, and shifter console.

 

how much did that 1.6el setup run?

well not really interested on the look I was just wondering bc i pick up a ek shell last weekend and it didnt come with climate control so now I just have to look for a 99 one thats all ,

That's probably the easiest option.

 

i want to see more pictures of the 1.6 el setup

edit, i've looked on ebay and google and cant find info about the 1.6el cupholder setup, im really thinking about getting it, know any part numbers?
