My tranny has no LSD stamp---anyone wonders as to why?
Its a 1996 JDM ITR and i have 3 theories:
1. They didnt stamp trannies w/ LSD in 1996 in japan.
2. It was worn off by chemicals when cleaning (came from import auto salvage
)
3. Honda mechanic forgot his stencils that day.
It does indeed have an LSD you can verify by pulling the axles, and doing 2wheel burnouts also is really good evidence an LSD is in there.
Any ideas?

I've seen other ITR swaps w/ the trannies come from IAS and they have the LSD stamp, i guess they supercleaned mine-lol.
Many cars will spin both but after a few seconds 1 wheel will continuing spinning. Maybe if u modulate the throttle you can get both to keep spinning, otherwise i dont see how w/out an LSD. I'm talking about a burnout going down the road a ways, not just in 1 spot.

burnouts are the best way to test...
-burn outs in the rain are the best way to test.
a sudden shock load to the diff. will lock it and give you the feeling of a LSD... but in the rain with a roll-on power application a real LSD will shine.
