Hello,

I try to put my CUSCO LSD (RS 1 way) in my Y1 and the ring gear on it, isn't compatible with my speedometer pinion .... The ring gear is approx 3mm largeur than the original one. Somebody have a solution ?

all 5spd B/D series VSS are the same length...

so i am not sure how u could solve that issue...

maybe an H22 vss?

 

Ok .... Same lenght .... But my probleme is, in fact, the diameter of the ring gear on lsd. And it's was directly machined on the LSD body.
Maybe the cusco was normaly provide with a specific VSS/pinion ? **** ......

Or the JDM one is different ?

is the tranny running/working rigth now?

 

My Cusco LSD for my Type-R trans came with a speedometer pinion, you should call cusco and see if they made one for the Y1.

the ring gear for the diff is actually almost the same size on a y1 and R, so im sure thats his problem...

 

In fact, after comparaison with an OEM gear, the cusco is largeur (approx 96mm) and the OEM size is approx 93mm .....
Now, my only solution is to contact cusco to know if it's possible to buy the pininon only ....
