Which K24 will fit in my new 07 SI
I was wondering which K24 bottom end will fit with all the stock accessories in my new 07 SI. I was told that I couldn't use the accord or crv engines ... thanks for the help...

That's a pretty dumb statement. A turbo also voids your warranty. A lot of mods will void your warranty.

It says on the parts list that the lip is custom. We're never going to get a cf front lip. I mean why would companies want to make money?!?

K24a4 accord/element block's pistons are too tall at TDC and hit the valves.

You are wrong! In the United States nothing can void a warranty, except undeniable proof that you used your car for racing/competition. Then they can put a drive train warranty block. Only the warranty claim can be denied. The part modified must cause or have contributed to the cause for which the warranty claim was presented. Stop spreading erroneous information.

Thanks for posting the truth
Dealerships try to avoid doing warranty work on legit claims... imagine if you come in with a turbo and other aftermarket parts

Well I am right, they can't void the warranty, only deny the claim. The only entity that has the power to modify your warranty is Honda Motor Company of America. And then they can only initiate a block on warranty claims on the drive train.

I don't understand you people. The TSX has a better torque curve, i'd sure as hell not get it for the 10 hp, but the torque is impressive because of the displacement. Boohoo my car gets 197 hp at 9 gajillion RPM but my torque curve is as big as a JDM pee pee...

Hell yes! The power band of a k24a2 is much broader than any stock k20. Too many people pay attention to peak power numbers. For example, before I became a honda enthusiast, I was into cavaliers. Specifically the 2.4 twin cam ld9 engine in the Z24. This engine was rated at 150hp and 155 ft lbs of torque. The power band on this engine was as flat as kansas. And was able to out accelerate cars comparable in weight with 30-50 rated hp

Ok, sure you're right. But go slap on a turbo, then drive in with a busted trans or LSD and tell me if your dealer fixes it or denies your claim.
