if the grease isnt near by what you can do is press the window button to go up ,hold it, and as the window slowly goes up just pull on it and gently move it from l to r . its inconvenient but works

silicon spray will work but only temporarily. once it dries out or accumulates dirt it will be the same if not worse.

remove plastic door lining... then clean the crap thats inside the "arms" of your window roll up mechanism. then regrease with some moly/all purpose grease. (stay away from lithium, as it tends to wash away after awhile) also make sure that your window is aligned... if the window tries to push up crooked, it wont roll up right. btw just roll your window down enough, and everything will come into view =P

edit: did you disconnect your battery or have any electrical issues before this started happening? could be that you just need to hold up on the window roll up button for 10 seconds or so to get it to memorize the position so it auto rolls up and down. i dont remember if you had to do it both ways or not though.

if you arent on clubrsx they have some diy for like speaker installs i believe with pictures. basically you would just follow the door panel removal portion. i could probably do it faster than i can type it, lol

word of caution, when removing door handle, be careful when removing the clip securing the release cable..

edit: oh wait.. do you drive an ep3?

actually the process is about the same... the parts just look a little different.
