Default 1988 CRX SUSPENSION

I just needed some people's thoughts about this.

I've been working on a project car, my 1988 honda CRX and i'm thinking what suspension I should use. Originally I wanted to use Tien's Basic Dampers, but I found out that they don't carry the rear shocks for my car. The guy told me to put Integra control arms on it and use the acura basic dampers.

Just wondering if anyone has actually done that switcheroo and was wondering if it's difficult to do.

That is a possibility but does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions about any other suspension?

Thanks!

Tokico Illumina's have an 88 rear application.

Front: BU2797
Rear: BU2799

But yes you can use a different rear lca as said above.

Cool... So all I would have to do is replace the LCA of the rears to the 89-91 versions and I should be good right?

Anyone know where I could find those??

That is correct.

On any USDM/CDM '89-95 Civic, '89-91 CRX, '93-97 del Sol, or '94-01 Integra (except Type-R). If you have an Si and/or need the rear sway bar mounts, you'll need to pull them from a vehicle with a rear sway bar. There are also various aftermarket '89+ style control arms available as well.

I would only use 89-91 LCAs.
