Just what the title says. I have a 1998 Civic EX Coupe. Its all stock. Everytime I hit a pot hole, the heat or ac makes a noise. I have to turn up the heat or ac all the way to get rid of that noise. Other then that problem, the heat or ac works great.

I tried searching and nothing comes up. The search comes up "heat not working at all" or "no heat".

Like it rattles or the actually blowing sound is abnormal?

 

Is the sound coming from the AC compressor hitting the block? or some place from the interior of the car?

 

Its the blowing sound that is abnormal. It'll make a "BRRRRRRRRRRR" sound. But when I turn up the heat, the blowing sound goes away until I hit a pot hole or anything hard that would set off the blowing sound.

The sound is coming from the inside of the car.
