Default Help Cleaning transmission fluid from the firewall/dash??

Two weeks ago my clutch pedal started to lose pressure untill I pumped it several times. I checked the fluid level and checked for leaks but could not find any. The shop informed me that the fluid was leaking into the firewall/dash. I do not think they cleaned the fluid from the dash. I own a 97 Civic EX Coupe. Is this fluid harmful to the interior of my car, wires, engine? And what would be the best way to clean it DIY? Thank you for any help. Already searched but with no sucsess.

That would be brake fluid buddy. Keep it away from your paint. Use some brake parts cleaner and a rag to clean it up.
