Default CLEANING CARBON FIBER

whats the best way to clean a carbon fiber hood ? regular like washing a car? wax? soap and water?

Wash it like you would normally wash your car. If you wax your car, wax the hood too. It won't be affected in any way when you wash your car.

oh yea..i just picked this hood up locally and it didnt come with the rubber piece on the outer edge that my stock hood has, i duno if they usualy come with them when you buy them new or whatever but im guessing i can but will that rubber piece work for the carbon fiber?

You can transfer the rubber seal from your stock hood. On mine, I used rivets to hold it in place, because the plastic fasteners wouldn't work properly due to the thickness of that area on the new hood.
