Blox Type B, what valvetrain??
Hello everyone.
Ok, i've done research on the cam setup, but i'm so confused about how to do the math (i hate math!) to calculate the specs.
I just recently purchased stage 2 Blox cams with Skunk2 gears.
I was told by the seller that he recommends either using Blox valvetrain or Supertech (he recommeneded as the best).
And i felt even more inclined about the Supertech valvetrain because another person that was selling his JG valvetrain recommended the same company.
Does anyone know how to calculate the Blox stage 2 cam specs?
If so, what valvetrain should i be looking for?
All help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
Specs:
Type B, Tuner Series
INTAKE lift - 12.4 mm, duration 266 @0.05 in.
EXHAUST lift - 12.0 mm, duration 266 @0.05 in.
Blox: Strongly recommends using with Blox dual valve springs.
Blox is going to say theirs
Other tuners are going to say something else.
Peeps of the street say Supertech

Blox B's are similar to skunk2 stage 2's. You should be safe and OK if you were to run the blox, supertech's, JG, skunk2, toda, rocket motorsports, etc. valve train. It depends on what you want to spend.
