I am wanting to try to get sponsered for my 99 civic SI that i am almost done building. 600+whp with full race top mount and gt35r fully build gsr with type r head. How do i go about getting a sponser? anyone know of a company looking to sponser? any info is greatly appricated thanks.

 

its not that easy to get sponsered...... it will take alot more than just having a car/driver that has no track record

 

you are going to have to prove your self in what ever class your gonna run in before anyone is even going to think of sponsoring you
unless...you are like someone else on this forum who shall remain anonymous

while your at it can let that company know that I have a 760whp integra that goes to races and if they want to give money to send some my way too.

Just dont tell them I want to be sponserd, but rather sponsored.

by proving myself you mean run low 11's? high 10's? or what? Im just trying to figure out what i need to do to get to the point where someone will want to sponser me

Yeah Tony's the man I am sure he might help you out

 

Show up at the races, qualify well, cut good lights, go rounds and having a fast nice looking car really helps. The sponsors will find you.

 

Listen to the guy above me. He knows what he's talking about, and you can see, he has sponsers. Actually, he sponsers people too, as long as your car is going to run mid 9's, he'll hook you up! Maybe you can even team up with him.

 

The sponsor is looking for a car that is going to get alot of coverage. In turn, it gets them alot of coverage.

 

Think of it this way. Companies will want to use your car for an ad for their company. If your car is out making good runs and lots of people seeing your car, the sponsors will want there name on your car.

Its hard to get a company to invest money in you if you havent brought the car out, and made good times which in turn makes their company look better.

 

or you could do something diffrent like run a 9's or 10's on Pat and Charlie. You would get some head turns then.
