suspension for the track and road
evening chaps. i'm looking to drop the ride and stiffen the suspension for better handling during spirited driving.
I was considering eibachs for my stock ITR but a friend suggested i go for spoon as they are more refind for the ITR and not "generic" as it drops the car at different heights back and front.
Whats the general consensus about Spoons compared to other springs?

just springs atm. my dampers are fine, and i wont be playing around with suspension settings yet. just looking for something in the interim while i save up some money
Honestly, the stock setup is quite good. If you're just going to be swapping out springs for a lower stance, you will most likely not end up with an actual improvement in handling.

It dropped my teg 1.25 inches, it handled great and got rid of some fender gap, alignment was almost dead on too.

For what he wants, theres nothing wrong with a nice performance strut/performance spring setup.

its all up to the end user.
if you want to go "JDM" (if that sort of thing is important to you over function), go get a coilover from spoon or zeal, etc.
if you want more functional, i'd say go with shocks and a spring setup, for instance GC coilovers custom rates with bilsteins or konis.

Wouldn't it make more sense to just install some Koni adjustables instead of swaping just the springs? Besides, you'll inevitably need new shocks after you lower your R with shorter springs.

I wouldn't change a thing if you're only going to drive on the street. Even if it is 'spirited'. Especially if you hit an old brick road or two
