2007 cmi sponsers needed Sacramento ca.
we are looking to get sponser for 4 pro catagory's this year to run a 4 race season this year and we are trying our best to make the dates to not conflict with any other sanctioned race this year. we will be offering prizes to all wh attend and finish in the top 2 posistion in each class. quick 8 or 16, fast 8 or 16, T4 pro outlaw, and street power all motor. these will be weekend events and a chance for all sponsers to set up a booth at all the races and be very noticed in the pro pit areas and be a part of the whole event. we are looking for parts, funds, or even race gas anything associated to sport compact drag racing! we hope to find 4 to 8 good sponsers so we can run aseries that would keep everyone interested all year and even a bonus to all who attend every event! thanks chad and tony!
Ive never ran that track - how is it compaired to like Famoso or something. I mean we would like to sponsor stuff and get more events going closer to home....but track prep seems to be last on everyones mind when they have events ?

The last sponsored event at Sacramento for CMI. The track was very well prepped for Saturday qualifying and Sunday eliminations. The best I've seen in a very long time, and I mean long. Probably back to when Jojo Callos still had his white hatchback and always race at Sacramento.

We have run some of our best times here at CMI.......the weekend we ran 9.50 @ 150.3mph...I would have to say it was prepped better than Bakersfield (Famoso).
If CMI gets lots of racers, they make sure to extra....extra.....extra prep the track with VHT.

the races that are going on this weekend are just races that are put together by people that just are going to the test and tune. i think they invited allracers to attend. im not going to be there but i know its going to be sac on sat and infineon on sunday. a bunch of importers in a muscle cars events. i guess the more the marier. so if you need practice or want to see a bunch of fast street cars. enjoy.
i can't complain to much i've ran my fastest there but the track does go away as the day goes on. Its really a fast track.
