Default dropping one DVC 4 ohm sub into 2 ohms

i have one 12'' american pro DVC 4ohm sub, and a profile clarus 640 4-channel amp stable at 2ohms. if i wire the sub in series, and bridge the channels, would i end up with a 2ohm load?

thanks

If you wire two coils in parallel (+ and + together/ - and - together) you'll get 2 ohm.

look into running the subs in a series rather than parallel.this way you will have an 8 ohm load and it will bridge down to 4.
