Default 98 Accord V6 Tranny Troubleshooting Help

I have a 98 Accord with 147K on the clock. This has been the most reliable car I have ever owned and I believe it is starting to have some tranny issues. I know the early model years for that generation had weak trannies so I am surprised it has made it this far

I have done all maintenance over the years and I have been changing ATF around every 10K miles as the mileage started piling on.

2 issues that make me think something is about to go wrong with it:

1) When I shift from Park into D or R, it gives a noticable jolt but only does this every 1 out of 3 shifts or so.

2) At highway speed if I press the gas it jerks and it jerks when I let off the gas. I was thinking maybe a tranny mount but I am not sure it it has any since it is FWD.

If I end up having to change the tranny, I believe I can do it myself since I am very familiar with working on Hondas. Any ideas on where I should start looking for the issue? Thanks

so "I am very familiar with working on Hondas"

now check your mount (this include all engine mounts as well), do you have any noise coming from tranny?

did you check your tranny solenoid ?

easy things fist

2 of the 3 engine mounts replaced already, rear mount behind engine has not been changed. I will check it.

I will check tranny mount too

No noise is coming from tranny, the only thing that gives indication it might be developing a problem is the slightly noticable jolt when shifting from P or hitting/letting off the gas at highway speed.

have not checked solenoid but will tonight.

Thx for the help
