Default Help me figure out my suspension woes

Ive decided to go with KYB GR2s

the spring in mind are Neuspeed Sport or Tein stechs

the tein would end up costing me a bit more money

neuspeed sport is 2"fr and 1.8"r

the tein is 1.5"fr and 1.4 rear

however for the crx spring it says 1.6"fr and 1.5"rear

I want good comfortable ride but I want it to be firmer, and look a bit more aggressive

what do u guys think??

o and i searched and nothing specific to EFs(especialy us 4dr EFs)

how much do you really want to drop it? me and all my buddies and alot of people around here have gotten skunk2's and i really like the ride of those, lowers 2.5 inch as to your 2 inch or less on those other springs. you can get skunk2s for around 140 bux too so their pretty cheap for namebrand quality stuff.

no 2.5 is way to low for where I live and how I drive...

if anyone has the neuspeed sports on there civic/crx; please post pics

Ive seen the Tein's and its a decent drop, but Id like to see the neuspeed drop for a visual comparison...

Im going with KYB GR-2s

due to $$$ and I know they are decent for small drop

now what springs???

tein stech=back looks lower than front

eibach pro kit=drop isnt that low, price is OK

neuspeed sport=good price, heard they squeak, seems like an even looking drop but kinda low, front a little lower tho

eibach sportlines=seems to drop very low and has aggressive look, front looks very low

H&R sports= very mixed reactions to these

Ive heard all these springs ride well especially mated to a decnt basic damper(like the GR2s)

I also ride on 13" rims or steelies with small tires 185/60HR to keep my gears nice and short...

so I just need more opinons; Ive been searching and this is what ive gathered and if anyone else has something to share or advice, it would be appreciated...

I would not get a stock replacement strut if you want a nice ride. You are only talking about an extra 100 dollars to get either AGX or Illumina struts. Do it right the first time.

I am rolling on stech springs with illumina struts

I am on a tight budget; plus alignment=$70

so there u go....

My friend had a 95 coupe dumped on GR2s and it rode great; I am only lower a bit over 1.5", H and R sports; which dont have crazy rates either

I think itll b pretty good; def an upgrade

I hear what yr saying but I wouldnt go AGX either way most likely...

Id rather get those neuspeed KONI yellows....$$$$

I thought the gr2 were only good for about a 1.5" drop, i had them on my old crx with some apc coilovers and it was ok, i wouldnt do it again, how much are you getting the gr2 for.

Id like comfy street/highway driving of course

better high speed handling (125mph+)

and I hit the twisties a good bit

no autox

I may run it at the track but I certainly dont need a crazy drag setup.....

I run H&R sports and Koni yellows on my 91 hatch,on full soft it's smooth like butta but I can firm it up with a twist of the wrist. About 1.75 " drop.
