What would you guys do, i have a 97 gsr, with edelbrock header, aem V2 intake, type r t.b., s2 i.m., catback exhaust. I have the option of getting either a free set of rota slipstreams with some sticky tires, can't remember which ones, or type r cams from a shop that owes me money. What would make the biggest difference in quarter mile? I don't have the cash for a good dyno tune right now, so if i did get the cams, i know i wouldn't get full potential. What's your imput? Thanks

 

i would get the itr cams. But thats me. you could get a good street tune on them i fyou cant get the money for the dyno...

 

ill get the ITR cams. that manifold on a stock gsr is already slower then a regular unmodded GSR

i know the rims go for about 400 plus used tires around 80 bucks around here, but i sure as hell can't find any type r cams for $300. If you can find me new or fairly new type r cams for 300 shipped, i'll buy them off you for sure.
