Default Eagle rods VS rev

Realisticly, what is the safe rev on the Eagle rods? I know, I know, I should only rev up to where the engine quit making power, but I've heard so many horrow stories about Eagle rods. So it kinda worry me. My set up is just a B20/Vtec with Eagle rods and CP pistons. Rev limiter set at 8500 rpm. IS it safe? I want to upgrade the cams and rev higher, but the Eagle rods myth haunt me.

With aftermarket rods, why should you fear to go above a stock Honda's normal operating range? (For example, the ITR's stock rev-limit is 8600 RPM)

I take my LSVTEC to 9000 RPM on stock rods with ARP bolts.

Eagles are very tough--just being an H-Beam design makes them quite strong--alot of material, not exactly lightweight. Also have really good bolts.

The only way a forged rod would let go is if the bolts do. In a NA engine why would you use H beams?
