I just grabbed some aem adjustable cam gears off myother b16 sitting here and i forgot to mark which is exhaust and intake...

They have the 3 bolt pattern

so blue = what

It doesn't matter. Both gears are the same.

Ha funny.

Ok then....are the cams and cam PLATES the same on the b16

because i grouped the exhaust cam and cam plate together and intake cam and cam plate together...and when i switch the stock cam gears that i had marked with the aem cam gears i dont know which group is which any more...

Are you referring to part #24?

Here are the p/ns:

If the p/n says PR3 in the middle, it was originally used on the B16A. These cam gears on for a GSR or ITR, correct?

Alright i figured out which cam goes where..pretty obvious since only one has the distributor fitting...

which brings me to my next question.

since the cam will slide on the distributor key one way or the same way but 180 degrees rotated....should the distributor rotor be touching the TOP RIGHT or BOTTOM LEFT assuming im at TDC.

im pretty sure its the top right?
