exhaust q?

Default exhaust q?

right now i have a no-name catback exjhaust on my d15b7 its 2.5 inch piping and stainless steel no name muffler i got a used oem honda muffler from a 2002 civic, if i take it to get put on at a muffler shop will it work and tone down the loudness cus im really getting sick of hearing that loud exhaust thanks...(note: i dont wan t to spend money on changin the 2.5 inch piping cus it will cost a lot more - can this still be done?)

It can be done but the muffler will defeat the purpose of having a larger, free'er flowing exhaust system. As long as you understand that going into, then you can put whatever muffler you want on. Should end up very close to stock sound.

i have put the exact same muffler on my car. It is 2" piping i think. I know its not the 2.25" that comes stock, but i could careless because the car is quiet and i love that. It'll work fine.

Actually, having 2.5" piping on a stock b7 is losing him horsepower, so this will probably help his car.
